Bruno Fernandes played with a broken hand in 4-2 win against Sheffield United in Premier League

The midfielder’s exploits also guided United to the FA Cup final
Bruno Fernandes, a standout for Manchester United, played like a true captain against Sheffield United.
At Old Trafford on Wednesday, Fernandes, 29, nearly single-handedly guided United to a tense 4-2 victory against Chris Wilder’s struggling team.
Following Harry Maguire’s equaliser, Ben Brereton Diaz gave his team an additional goal, and the Blades’ Jayden Bogle goal was on course to give the Red Devils yet another humiliating Premier League loss. But Fernandes put matters into his own hands, scoring twice in the space of twenty minutes.
Five minutes before halftime, the attacking midfielder additionally opened up Rasmus Hojlund’s goal to secure the crucial three points. Given that the Portugal international was playing with an injury, his performance is all the more impressive.

The former Sporting Lisbon player suffered an injury on his hand during the thrilling FA Cup semifinal matchup with Coventry on Sunday. During the match at Wembley, Fernandes fell and injured his right hand.
The Portuguese star was deemed doubtful for United’s encounter against Sheffield United by manager Erik ten Hag.
But Fernandes said that he wished to play for the club and push through the discomfort, according to The Times.
The United captain continued to play for Ten Hag’s team for the duration of the game. This season, Fernandes has come under fire for his frequent tantrums on the pitch.
That being said, the attacking midfielder has made an enormous impact this season, totalling 44 games across all competitions, 15 goals, and 11 assists.
