The BWF Japan Masters 2023 will be held in Japan, recognized by the Badminton World Federation (BWF), and designated as one of the nine BWF World Tour Super 500 events in 2023, solidifying its place within the BWF World Tour calendar.
Kumamoto in Japan has been selected as the host city for this esteemed event, set to commence from 2023 and extend through 2026. The 2023 edition is scheduled to run from the 14th to the 19th of November and will be hosted at the Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium.

The event will showcase esteemed players such as Viktor Axelsen, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Akane Yamaguchi, and Carolina Marin in the singles competition. In the team events, top-seeded pairs like Pharanyu Kaosamaang and Worrapol Thongsa-Nga in men’s doubles, Chen Qing Chen and Jia Yi Fan in women’s doubles, and Zheng Si Wei and Huang Ya Qiong in mixed doubles are poised to compete for the title.
Singapore will be represented by Loah Kean Yew and Yeo Jia Min at the Japan Masters 2023. The prize money for the Japan Masters 2023 amounts to USD $420,000.
