The BWF Japan Masters 2023, an annual badminton tournament, joined the BWF World Tour this year as a Super 500 event. The BWF has designated the Japan Masters as one of the nine BWF World Tour Super 500 events. Kumamoto has been chosen as the host city for the Japan Masters until 2026. The 2023 edition is slated to run from November 14 to November 19.
