Four of the five defending champions will be in the fray this season again. In the men’s singles category, Viktor Axelsen, the formidable player from Denmark, is back in action, ready to demonstrate his prowess and aim for another victory. The men’s doubles category sees the dynamic duo of Liu Yuchen and Ou Xuanyi from China.
The women’s doubles category is graced by the presence of Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan, a pair known for their impeccable coordination and strategic gameplay. The mixed doubles category witnesses the return of Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong. However, the tournament feels the absence of one key player. Akane Yamaguchi, the defending champion in the women’s singles category, is unfortunately unable to participate due to an injury.
