Virat Kohli is the highest run-getter in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 with over 700 runs.

Virat Kohli of India strengthened Indian innings in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 first semi-finals match between India and New Zealand, which is being contested on November 15, 2023, at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

He was menacing until he played a false shot off a Tim Southee’s slower ball and was caught out.

Virat Kohli has been in outstanding form at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, demonstrating his batting abilities and setting new records. Kohli has scored three hundreds and five half-centuries, with a top-score of 117 runs. His solid play has earned him a batting average of 99.00 and a strike rate of 88.52, demonstrating his ability to score runs swiftly while remaining stable at the crease.

However, during his ongoing knock, he went past Sachin Tendulkar’s all-time World Cup record for most runs in an edition of the World Cup. Sachin Tendulkar scored 673 runs in the 2003 World Cup in South Africa and was named the player of the tournament as well.
