Goodnight in-laws: Yuvraj Singh's hilarious tweet after India defeat England ICC T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final

Yuvraj Singh is the ambassador of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Legendary India all-rounder and ambassador of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Yuvraj Singh congratulated India and trolled England with a hilarious post following India’s victory over England in the second semi-final at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on June 28.

The Rohit Sharma-led India finally took revenge for the heartbreaking loss during the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final after they defeated defending champions England by 68 runs in the ongoing ICC tournament. 

After defeating England, skipper Rohit Sharma became the first Indian captain to lead the nation in three ICC tournament finals in a span of 12 months.

During the post-match presentation, Indian captain Rohit added that he was very satisfied with the win. Sharma further added that it was a great effort by every member, and they adapted to the conditions very well.

Very satisfying to win this game. We worked really hard as a unit. To win this game like that was a great effort from everybody. We adapted to the conditions really well. The conditions were a little challenging, we had to adapt and that’s been the success story for us so far till this game, Rohit Sharma said.

Yuvraj Singh’s hilarious post after India’s 68-run victory over England

The ambassador of the T20 World Cup 2024 Yuvraj Singh, took to his handle ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), where he made a cheeky post and congratulated the Indian side for their thumping victory over the defending champions England in Guyana.

The legendary all-rounder wrote ‘Well played boys 🇮🇳 goodnight in-laws 🤪 #IndiaVsEng #ICCMensT20WorldCup2024.’

It is to be noted that Yuvraj’s wife Hazel Keech, was born in Essex, England, and they both married in November 2016.

India to meet South Africa at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final

India and South Africa will face each other in the T20 World Cup 2024 grand finale in Barbados on June 29. Both the sides have been undefeated till now, with the Proteas winning eight matches and the Men in Blue having seven victories to their name. It is to be noted that India’s one group stage match against Canada was washed out due to rain in Florida.

The Aiden Markram-led South Africa will be playing their first T20 World Cup final, whereas the Indian side will play the final after 10 years.
