This was the midfielder's first goal of the season.

Jamshedpur FC and Bengaluru FC locked horns in a crucial game in the ISL 2022-23. The game ended in the favour of the Blues by a one goal margin. Danish Farooq scored a brilliant low right-footed shot from a Roy Krishna delivery. The win must be welcoming for the hosts and they will look to be among the top six continuing on this victory.

Here we take a look at the ratings from both the sides and find out the best performers on the night.

Bengaluru FC

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu - 7.5

He got a slight yet strong hand on Ishan Pandita's shot from a long throw. Gurpreet nullified the aerial threats from Jamshedpur's towering attackers. He made two reflex saves and one high claim.

Namgyal Bhutia - 7

Namgyal looked extremely lively on the right flank. He made some good runs forward and delivered a bunch of crosses to his frontline.

Aleksandar Jovanovic- 6.5

Jovanovic worked as a solid centre-back duo alongside Sandesh Jhingan. He had an overall 40 touches and made five clearances in the game.

Sandesh Jhingan - 7.5

The Bengaluru FC centre-back had an effort off target against Jamshedpur FC, in the form of a header to give his side the second goal. He made the most clearances (11) in this game. Defensively, Sandesh formed a decent partnership alongside Jovanovic, making crucial recoveries in the game.

Naorem Roshan Singh - 7

Roshan returned to his fiery form and had some exciting moments in the game. Similar to Bhutia, he too made a few runs forward, thereby operating well in both attack and defence.

Suresh Singh Wangjam - 6

Suresh supported Javi Hernandez to play up on the pitch as a defensive midfielder, with his tackles, interceptions and a well-timed challenge inside the box.

Danish Farooq - 8

He was a great presence in midfield, making crucial tackles and interceptions. Danish formed a solid defensive-midfield duo alongside Suresh . He scored the sole goal of the game to hand the win to his side.

Javi Hernandez - 8

Continuing his form since the last two games, he was extremely agile and made himself present virtually everywhere in the attacking third. Unfortunately, Javi didn’t find the back of the net but hit the crossbar with a brilliant volley.

Roy Krishna - 6.5

It wasn’t the Fijian striker’s best game. In other words, Krishna wasn’t as impactful as he previously used to be. However, he registered the assist for the goal.

Sunil Chhetri - 6.5

The Indian ace came close to scoring on occasions. Chhetri created three goal-scoring chances during his stay.

Substitutes

Pablo Perez - 6.5

The new signing missed a big chance when Jamshedpur goalie Vishal Yadav produced an outrageous save to deny him.

Rohit Kumar - 6.5

Rohit was influential in maintaining the narrow lead during the dying minutes. He made a professional tackle to deny Daniel Chima Chukwu and got booked for that.

Jayesh Rane - N/A

Jamshedpur FC

Vishal Yadav - 6

Vishal put up a brave performance in the game. The youngster produced an exceptional save in the dying moments against Pablo Perez. Overall, he made four saves in the game.

Laldinliana Renthlei - 6.5

Renthlei put in an impressive shift at right-back with 42 touches and won two ground duels. He made one clearance and tackle too!

Pratik Chaudhari - 7

He combined well with Eli Sabia and rose up to the occasion once again. Prateek contributed with five clearances, made one interception and one successful tackle.

Eli Sabia - 7

The new captain was solid at the heart of defence to keep Bengaluru attackers at bay. He made three clearances, one tackle and attempted a shot as well from a set-piece situation.

Ricky Lallawmawma – 6

The Jamshedpur FC left-back had an off day against Bengaluru FC. Ricky made four interceptions and two clearances, respectively. He also had 60 touches and completed 26 passes.

Jitendra Singh - 6.5

He tucked in well at the back when the full-backs pressed higher in the first half. Jitendra dictated the play with an 80% pass accuracy.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas - 7

JET was pressed intensively but that didn’t bother him much. He created two big chances and completed 83% of his passes. It was another committed performance from the Englishman.

Farukh Choudhary - 6.5

He couldn’t contribute a lot at the offensive end but still completed two passes along with a cross. Farukh also had one clearance and tackle to his name, before ending his shift after 45 minutes.

Rafael Crivellaro - 7

The Brazilian continued his scintillating display from the previous game even after being marked heavily. Crivellaro lacks fitness but the ace playmaker looks to hit the strides soon.

Boris Singh - 6.5

The youngster started the game energetically and made continuous mazy runs. Also, he missed one open chance and hit the woodwork.

Ishan Pandita - 6

The super-sub Indian striker got another start but failed to impress. Ishan has tremendous intuition to be at the right place at the right time. But unfortunately, he failed to connect his shots this evening.

Substitutes

Daniel Chima - 6

The Nigerian brought fire in the game. He was a constant threat throughout. It may raise many eyebrows on why he was not given a start in such a must-win game.

Ritwik Das - 6

The winger looked promising with three passes and one dribble in the limited time he got.

Harry Sawyer - 6.5

Harry played one key pass in the eight touches he had on the night.

Vikash Singh - N/A
