Kai Havertz inching closer to Arsenal move

Real Madrid are said to be out of the race
Kai Havertz, the attacker for Chelsea, has entered negotiations with Arsenal about a £60 million transfer, and the German is very close to joining the North Londoners.
According to reports, the Gunners have agreed to offer the German international more than £200,000 per week in order to sign with them.
Furthermore, if Arsenal and Chelsea are able to reach an agreement on an acquisition deal, the 24-year-old is eager to move across London. The interest from Mikel Arteta's side is known to the German player.
With two years left on his contract, Havertz's value is being pushed aggressively by the Blues, which is demanding at least £70 million for him.
The Gunners are optimistic that they can reach a deal for more than £60 million, including add-ons. Standard Sports also reported that the Gunners are hoping to force Chelsea's hand in negotiations over the German's fee. The Blues want to cash in before the end of this month to fix up their 2022-23 season's account.
Before attempting to finalise the purchase for the German, the Gunners are concentrating on finishing their approach for Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham, which might cost in excess of £100 million.
The North London team is interested in learning how much money will have to be paid upfront for Rice this summer.
The Hammers would prefer to have the sum of money for Rice paid in two instalments before 2025, which would severely limit Mikel Arteta's summer buying options.
