Newcastle are set to miss plenty of their players due to injury

On Thursday Everton will host Newcastle United at Goodison Park in Premier League 2023-24 Gameweek 15.

The Toffees have challenged the Premier League’s 10-point deduction they received for breaking financial regulations, but victory may lift them clear of the bottom zone. After a 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest this past weekend, Everton would have been in 12th place if they hadn’t lost points.

Rather, the Blues trail Luton Town by two points. However, the Hatters play Arsenal this evening, and if they lose and Everton defeats Newcastle, it will greatly boost morale at L4.

Sean Dyche, though, is well aware of the danger Newcastle presents. The Magpies, who placed third the previous season, are back on top and defeated Manchester United 1-0 the other day. Furthermore, this season, Everton has only triumphed once at Goodison.
