Chelsea ready to loan out Armando Broja on January transfer deadline day
Armando Broja is struggling for game time for the Blues
As long as Armando Broja leaves on a direct loan and agrees to pay a sizable price and play time obligations, Chelsea are now willing to allow his departure.
It is still feasible that they will go with their initial desire for a sale or loan with a buy-back commitment at a price they think fair for a striker they really appreciate.
But as the January transfer window closes, the position has gotten more accommodating.
There’s a good probability the 22-year-old will remain with the team and might depart in the summer if Chelsea’s demands are not fulfilled.
The Athletic revealed on Tuesday that Fulham were one of the interested parties in the Albanian international and that Chelsea had turned down a bid from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Given that Broja is currently Nicolas Jackson’s backup striker, a transfer might be advantageous to all parties. If TeamTalk’s rumours are to be trusted, Fulham intends to make a bid of about £35 million for the young player.

As of this writing, Marco Silva’s team has amassed 24 points and is now ranked 12th in the league after a respectable 2023–24 campaign. They have only scored 28 goals in 21 Premier League games, though, unable to match their previous era’s attacking ability.
By their own lofty standards, the Blues’ 2023–24 season has been lacklustre. In the majority of the competitions in which they have competed, they have not achieved noteworthy advancements.
Chelsea only has 31 points after 21 games, which puts them in ninth place in the league without any European tournament to compete in.
Nonetheless, Mauricio Pochettino’s team has advanced to the EFL Cup final, where they will take against a revitalised Liverpool team. Having won five trophies, the West London team is presently tied for fourth place in the competition’s history.
