The football season in England may be over for a lot of fans as Manchester City ran away with the Premier League title this season, but the same cannot be said for the EFL Championship. The lower division has been fiercely contested with lots of thrills and a few spills and teams have left no stones unturned to reach the elite division of English football.
Wolves have been a revelation this season and they secured direct entry to the top flight along with Cardiff City, whereas teams like Derby County, Fulham, Aston Villa and Middlesborough faced each other in the playoffs and both Fulham and Villa have managed to reach the prestigious playoff final.

5. Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham)
The Serbian scored 12 goals in 17 league appearances
The Newcastle United loanee has blossomed well in the English lower division for Fulham and the Serbian forward will look to guide his team home for one final time this season. The 23-year old striker has been in terrific form for Fulham as he has scored 12 goals along with an assist and his whopping 130 minutes per goal ratio is something that the Villa defenders will be warry off.
His daunting presence and excellent aerial abilities make him even more terrifying for any defence. So, manager Slaviša Jokanović and his men will look to feed the ball to the big Serb and will hope that he guides them to the EPL.
4. Albert Adomah (Aston Villa)
The Ghanaian has been a revelation for Aston Villa this season. His 15 goals and 5 assists in the league have been instrumental for the Clarets. The 30-year old right winger vows to dance if Villa make it back to the top flight after winning the final encounter at Wembley. His blistering pace and strength allows him to dribble past defenders with ease and the Ghana international will definitely be a threat for Fulham in the final.
3. Tom Cairney (Fulham)
Cairney has been a silent performer for Fulham this season. The central midfielder has been the captain and orchestrator in midfield for the Cottagers. The 27-year old boasts five goals and five assists along with a stunning 91.5% passing accuracy proving his worth in the heart of the midfield. The Scot is very experienced in this league and with EPL teams already lining up big money moves, the Fulham captain will look to take his side through to the elite division.

2. John Terry (Aston Villa)
Cometh the hour, cometh the man! John Terry has loads of experience as the Chelsea legend has featured in some of the most prestigious matches in world football and will look to bring all his experience together when his team take on Fulham on Saturday.
At 37, Terry has managed to play a vital role for the Clarets leading the backline and will look to do the same against the likes of Ryan Sessegnon and Mitrovic in the crucial finale.

The 18-year-old wonderkid has impressed everyone in world football as he has become the top target for a lot of clubs in the coming summer window. Sessegnon has scored a whopping 16 goals along with with seven assists in the league and has been the standout performer this season by a mile!
