FC Goa and East Bengal have qualified for the Super Cup 2025-26 semifinals.
East Bengal FC are through to the semifinals of the AIFF Super Cup 2025-26, after a frustrating goalless draw against their arch rivals Mohun Bagan SuperGiants in the Friday night decisive Kolkata Derby of Group A at Fatorda Stadium, Goa.
The AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 is underway in Goa. The competition began on October 25, 2025, and will conclude with the grand final on November 22, 2025. Fatorda Stadium and the GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim are hosting group stage matches, creating an exciting atmosphere under the Goan floodlights.
There are sixteen teams this season, split into four groups of four. Thirteen ISL clubs and three I-League teams, Gokulam Kerala, Rajasthan United, and Dempo SC, are on the roster. Dempo SC joined the competition as a replacement for Real Kashmir, who withdrew due to financial difficulties.
Only group winners advance to the semifinals, which makes every point and every goal crucial in this year’s tournament. That being said, let us take a look at the standings of the four Groups in the Super Cup.

East Bengal FC are through to the semifinals after the Kolkata Derby ended in a goalless draw. East Bengal were ahead of MohunBagan in respect of goal difference before the start of the match and just needed a draw to qualify for the semis, and today luck was with the Red and Gold Brigade.
With this draw, the IFA Shield Champions Mohun Bagan Super Giant are out of this year’s Super Cup. East Bengal will face the Group C winners in the semi-finals.
