Capcom has finally revealed the information about the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta release date and fans are quite excited about it. The time to hunt monsters with friends is upon us now.

However, do keep in mind that the upcoming demo will only offer us a small amount of gameplay. So, don’t keep your hopes high for it. Let’s check out more details in this article.

What is the release date for Monster Hunter Wilds open beta?

The Monster Hunter Wilds early access will start on October 31, 2024, at 8 pm PT and will end on November 3, 2024, at 7 pm PT. You don’t need to any registration, just head to the PlayStation/Xbox or Steam store to download the demo.

If you are a PlayStation Plus exclusive subscriber, then you will get early access from October 28, 2024, at 8 pm PT till October 30, 2024, at 8 pm PT. You will be able to play the demo before anyone else.

The game will officially be released on February 28, 2025 and will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

What to expect from the open beta and rewards?

There is only one reward that you will get if you play the open beta and that is a Pendant: Stuffed Felyne Teddy. This can be quipped on a hunter and apart from this, getting to play the game early is another reward. 

Fans hoped for some more rewards from the game, but for now, they have to satisfy their fills with this much. Apart from that, fans are eager to know what they are going to get in the open beta in terms of gameplay.

The fans would be able to play the first hour of the main storyline along with the cutscenes which is quite exciting. Plus, this will include the hunt for the Chatacabra monster.

You can also hunt another monster whose name is Doshaguma and the open beta will also have the character creator feature as well. This open beta and full release of Monster Hunter Wilds will also support the cross-play option.
