Some of the best missions in Grand Theft Auto

The GTA game series has provided the fans countless hours of gameplay and some great missions. Some of them were so good and unique, that they left a long impression on the fans.

While each player may have their own favorites, some missions stand out for their creativity, impact on the story, or simply the pure joy and chaos they bring to the table. Here are the top 10 missions that we believe were the best in this game series.

10. The Wrap-Up: GTA IV

Niko might be one of the OGs of the GTA series. GTA IV had so many great missions, and The Wrap-Up is one of them. In this mission, the player finds himself in a chaotic shootout at the museum, with many options for escaping or engaging, showing GTA IV’s freedom and dynamic fighting.

9. End of the Line: San Andreas

It was all about the streets and CJ finally takes it back from the Big Smoke in the final mission. This was important because it marked the end of the game’s storyline, which included a big riot and a fire truck pursuit.

8. The Paleto Score: GTA V

Heist missions have always been the best in this game series and The Paleto Score is one of them from Grand Theft Auto V. This was a small heist where players have to rob a bank in a town that will further lead to a military-grade escape. It’s popular for its explosive moments and relationships between characters.

7. Friends Reunited

This mission was really great and introduced the character Trevor to the fans. This mission blends stealth and explosive action, with players using sticky explosives to take out a trailer park. Plus, we get one of the most memorable and funniest characters in the series.

6. Breaking the Bank at Caligula’s

San Andreas had some of the craziest and best missions in the game and Breaking the Bank at Caligula’s is one of them. This mission will remind you of the movie series ‘Ocean’s Eleven.’ This task has a complex casino robbery that requires stealth, disguise, and a spectacular escape, capturing the essence of San Andreas’ ambitious gameplay.

5. The Big Score

Just like the name, the mission is big as well. This mission is often praised for its vast scope, with players able to take a covert or apparent approach, culminating in a big payout and an exciting police chase that demonstrates GTA V’s heist depth.

4. Dropping In: The Ballad of Gay Tony

One of the best missions from the fourth game series involves skydiving. This mission allows players to do a high-stakes parachute leap into a skyscraper, followed by a stealthy killing, reintroducing the crazy antics fans missed in previous games.

3. Publicity Tour: Vice City

Although Vice City had many missions that were fun and good, however, Publicity Tour was easily one of the best in that game. Players must drive a bomb-rigged car while listening to the Love Fist band members’ entertaining conversation, which wonderfully blends humor and challenge.

2. The Jewel Store Job

A robbery featuring V’s new gameplay elements and different approaches. Players enjoy the preparation and execution phases, particularly the game’s switch mechanic between characters, which is one of the greatest in the fifth series.

1. Three Leaf Clover

I don’t know about others but this is one of the best missions in the GTA game series. It’s a fan favorite because of its heist structure, which forces players to plan and execute under pressure, resulting in one of the most exhilarating experiences in the fourth series.
