If you want to unlock the new Galactic weapon skins, then you must have to play the Overwatch 2’s Competitive mode. These skins are the exclusive rewards and here’s how you can get them easily:

• Grind Competitive Mode: Begin by playing Competitive matches. Wins give you 10 Competitive Points, while draws earn you 5. Losses? Zero points, so aim for victory!
• Go to the Hero Gallery: To access the gallery, go to the main menu and select “Heroes”.
• Pick Your Hero: Choose the character you want to equip with a Galactic weapon.
• Find the Weapon Variants Tab: Scroll down to “Weapon Variants” to view all possible possibilities.
• Preview the galactic skin: To check out the skin, select “Galactic”—it varies significantly depending on the hero skin you have equipped. For example, Happi Genji has a sleek purple-green mix, whereas Hangzhou Spark Home Genji has glowing purple-pink shurikens and a sword.
• Unlock and Equip: Once you’ve saved up 3,000 Competitive Points, click “Unlock” to claim it, then “Equip” to display it in your next match in Overwatch 2.

The key to equipping these skins lies in earning the Competitive points that can be only earned by Competitive play. You’ll earn 10 points for each win and 5 for each draw—consistent performance will get you to 3,000 points.
