Shillong Lajong celebrates amazing Northeast

The club are a releasing a series of videos that explores the rich culture of the region.
North Eastern I-League club Shillong Lajong FC has created an initiative to promote the North East as a unique destination for travel by launching an online video series that celebrates the beauty of this corner of the country. Using our Facebook and YouTube handles as a medium, the ‘Lajong Amazing North East Diaries’ will take viewers on a journey through some of the best places to visit in the North East sister states featuring local Lajong players. A sneak peek of the Lajong Amazing North East Diaries was launched on the Facebook page(@ShillongLajongFC) and YouTube Channel (@SLFCOfficial) on Saturday, 22nd October and the first video in the series, on Mizoram, will be screened on 29th October at 6PM. The Lajong family comprises players from all eight states of the North Eastern region and team members put away their football boots to take on the role of guides and ambassadors of their respective home states, using their local knowledge and experience to highlight must-see locations in this exciting and informative online travel series.
Over the years Shillong Lajong has grown its online social media presence, with a Facebook following of over 2.35 lakh, making it the third-most popular I-League club on the social network. The club also has a further 10,000 plus followers on Twitter and 8,000 plus on Instagram and we hope that our fans embrace these Amazing North East videos.
