Vince McMahon retired from his roles in October 2022 and Triple H took control of the WWE creative and operations of the company. There were talks at times, where McMahon was back in control and there were last minute changes now and there. Triple H however continued to prove that Triple H is in total control and there was no involvement of McMahon.

Although the company was merged to TKO Group Holdings, and Triple H was not in the Board of Members, Triple H was given the full control of the company’s creative. At this stage the “Ultimate Luchador” Rey Mysterio spoke about Triple H and him being in control.

Rey Mysterio recently appeared on The MMA hour with Ariel Helwani, where he spoke on various topics. Rey spoke about the absence of Vince McMahon and Triple H being the lone control of the company.

Rey Mysterio on absence of Vince McMahon said, “That is wild. It’s wild not to see him. Even though we got used to him not being there, it’s just crazy to go to Gorilla and not see him there.”

Rey then praised Triple H and how the company runs with him in control and compared him with Vince McMahon’s time. Rey said,

“He was part of the roster, so he understands what we do and go through. I don’t think they could have picked a better person to take that role. He’s been doing incredible. From the whole writing team, and him, and whoever the final person that gives the authorization to say, ‘that’s a go,’ it’s been doing really good. To a certain extent, we would have times where things would be changed last minute. Right now, things are flowing very smoothly, very very smooth. It’s good.”

Triple H himself spoke at WWE Fastlane post-event media scrum, that he feels a positive atmosphere backstage, where everyone is working together to put the company forward.
