At the WrestleMania 40 Kick-off show, the stakes for this year’s WrestleMania peaked. The Rock vs Roman Reigns was initially teased where both thought that they controlled the place and made the decisions of their own. However, Cody Rhodes became aware of losing his spot and announced his decision to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania XL.

This doesn’t stop there, Roman made it personally stating Cody is as irrelevant as his father Dusty Rhodes. To which Cody countered stating that neither Rock nor Roman were cooking their matches and what is the relevance of their match. He also said that if both Rock & Roman’s Grandfathers were here, they would have been ashamed of Roman. Rock then said that both his and Roman’s family, blood and ancestors are the same and slapped Cody.

Seth Rollins stood for Cody against Rock & Roman and yelled at them which half went censored. However, the World Heavyweight Champion spoke about The Rock backstage in an interview following the event, where he expressed his hate for The Rock.

Seth Rollins doesn’t like The Rock

Seth Rollins immediately after the WrestleMania XL Kick-off show spoke to Fox News, where The Visionary was asked about The Rock’s appearance at the WrestleMania Kick-off to which Seth Rollins said,

“It’s just what happens when powerful people exert their power. They just think they do whatever they want and get away with it and that sucks. It just sucks. I don’t know any other way to put it. I guess it (resulted) in Cody getting what he wanted. We’ll figure out what’s next for the World Heavyweight title. But Cody said it best. It’s bulls**t. It feels pretty gross to me.”

Seth Rollins was asked about a similar situation a decade ago, where Rock took CM Punk’s spot. To which Rollins said,

“Ten years or something like that. The last time he came around, I don’t like (CM) Punk but he did the same thing to Punk, kinda came in and took his main event and did it two years in a row with some very not-so-memorable matches with John Cena. But yeah, now coming back, on the board of directors, like I said man, it feels gross. I don’t like it. I feel like we gotta do something about it. Just don’t know what that next step is going to be.”
