The Rock vs Roman Reigns is one of the most anticipated matches, which has been rumoured for years. However, after Roman’s heel turn the talks about the match went viral. Last year in September,

The Rock made his first appearance in WWE after a long time and also spoke about the potential match with Roman Reigns before the show at Pat McAfee show and said that it should have happened at WrestleMania 39, but he is open for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.

The Rock then returned at Raw Day 1, where he teased the ‘Head of The Table’ which went viral on the internet. As the fans anticipated when they would face off, the moment happened at SmackDown, where the most anticipated moment became the most disliked moment in WWE history. WWE fans are so unpredictable that they extended their support to Cody Rhodes and started chanting against The Rock, who replaced Cody’s hard earned spot.

Now the fans are eager to know whether Cody has any chance of finishing his story by dethroning Roman Reigns to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. However, a recent report reveals the status of The Rock and his possibility of wrestling at WrestleMania 40, which could disappoint Cody’s fans.

The Rock vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 is a done deal

As per PWInsider report they have heard from multiple sources that The Rock wrestling at WrestleMania 40 is 100% a done deal as a part of the TKO Board of Directors contract. Based on the sources Rock vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania is locked and the only way that it might not happen unless an unforeseen situation like an injury happens.

PW Insider reported that,

“Multiple sources have noted that The Rock is 100% performing in the ring at WrestleMania 40. That is a done deal and, as we noted on Saturday, likely something that was contractually locked in as one of the milestones Rock would be involved in as part of his TKO Board of Directors deal. We were told there is ‘no scenario’ where Rock is not wrestling Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, unless something unforeseen happens, like an injury.”
