Piper Niven delighted all her Scottish fans with her performance.
Bayley defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Scotland’s own Piper Niven. Since winning the championship at WrestleMania XL, Bayley was harassed by Niven and Chelsea Green, to the point where General Manager Nick Aldis named the Scotswoman as the next challenger for The Role Model.
Piper Niven fights in her hometown
Piper Niven alongside her tag team partner Chelsea Green was the first to make it to the ring, then made her way to “The Role Model” Bayley. Both women were having a good fight as Niven kept overpowering Bayley and with the help of Green Bayley kept getting into problems. But the ref noticed Green’s constant nagging in the match and sent her backstage.
Niven kept overpowering Bayley with her body and strength. As she took the fight to Bayley, she hit Bayley with a senton bomb on “The Role Model’s ” back. As Bayley tried to fight back Niven with a head butt again overpowered Bayley to gain control of the match. As Niven kept slamming Bayley on the turnbuckle, Bayley countered stunning Niven, and started smashing her head on the turnbuckle.
But, it wasn’t enough for Niven to go down as in a matter of seconds Niven countered it with a suplex. But, slowly Bayley started gaining control as she hit Niven with a suicide dive later hitting her ribs into the ringside area.
But Bayley using her quickness slowly started gaining control as she relentlessly kept attacking Piper Niven. As, Baykey hit Niven with a high elbow, everyone thought it was over but Niven kicked out.
Bayley retains in style
Fans were quite pleased with Niven’s performance and they started chanting her name. As Niven went on the top rope Bayley countered it with Belly to Belly from the top rope, but Chelsea Green wearing a Lucha Libre mask saved the match for Niven.
As Bayley tried to Rose plant Niven, she countered and hit her with a brainbuster but it wasn’t enough to beat the champion. As it wasn’t enough Niven smashed Bayley into the ring post damaging her back.
But Bayley somehow countered and knocked Niven out to pin her 1,2,3 to retain her WWE Women’s Championship Match.
