Solo Sikoa will partake in the first round match of the tournament.

General Manager Adam Pearce, on last week’s show, announced two additional first-round matchups for the Last Time is Now Tournament that are set to take place tonight on Monday Night Raw, which is set to air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

NXT’s Je’Von Evans is set to face a returning Gunther, while Solo Sikoa is set to battle a mystery opponent whose identity Pearce chose not to reveal. This has left fans speculating about the mystery opponent.

Multiple big names, including John Cena, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, and Jey Uso, are advertised for the show tonight.

Theories have been circulating since last week’s announcement. Adding to the speculation, Pearce fueled fan excitement in his weekly Raw preview video recently, stating that Sikoa’s mystery opponent on tonight’s show will be a special surprise. He also noted that all fan predictions so far have been incorrect.

However, this has not stopped fans from theorizing who the mystery opponent for Sikoa on WWE Raw tonight might be.

Say his name, and he appears?

Among the majority of comments on WWE’s X (Twitter) post announcing the match, fans are predicting that be the mystery opponent. Hendry has recently signed a full-time contract with the WWE and is a constant part of NXT programming this year.

However, Sean Ross Sapp has noted that he doesn’t expect Hendry to be the mystery opponent. Other stars whose fans have predicted to be Solo Sikoa‘s mystery opponent tonight are Austin Theory, Dolph Ziggle (Nic Nemeth), Randy Orton, and Jeff Hardy.

Austin Theory was reportedly set for a return and to join The Vision, but the plans have likely changed since Seth Rollins’ injury. On the other hand, Randy Orton is reported to return on the December 5 show of SmackDown after Survivor Series.

Matt Cardona, aka Zack Ryder, making his return as the mystery opponent for LA Knight, has also let many fans believe that the mystery opponent will be someone who has history with Cena, and two names who are currently part of the TNA roster are front-runners, namely Nemeth and Hardy.

Pearce’s comments about it being a special surprise and pointing out that fan theories are wrong likely mean that WWE is either deflecting fan attention or they truly have a special surprise in store that will wow the audience.
