First Death- 1994

Taker’s first death stint happened at the 1994 Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Undertaker faced Yokozuna for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship in a Casket match, where the first one to throw his opponent into the casket and close the lid wins the match.

Yokozuna with the help of Crush, The Great Kabuki, Genichiro Tenryu, Bam Bam Bigelow, Adam Bomb, Jeff Jarrett, Samu, Fatu, and Diesel, put Taker into the casket and pushed it to the aisle. The Casket began to emit smoke and The Undertaker appeared on the big screen that he will rise from the dead, before the casket exploded.
