The Visionary has the goal to reclaim the title in 2025
‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins has been one of the top stars in the Stamford-based promotion with multiple titles and reigns. However, since losing the World Heavyweight title at the hands of Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40, he has been unable to recapture the title.
Rollins kicked off 2025 with a feud against ‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk, the two stars have deep animosity which was on display during the build-up to their clash which took place on the WWE Raw debut episode on Netflix.
Ahead of their clash, the two stars engaged in a war of words which soon turned into a physical conformation with both showcasing the mutual hatred they have for each other. However, Rollins was unable to beat Punk in the Raw Netflix debut show as the Second City Saint pinned Rollins to hand him the first loss of 2025.
Following his first loss in the year, Rollins locked horns with a familiar rival in Drew McIntyre in the second match of this year. Despite tough opposition from McIntyre, Rollins was able to repeat Jey Uso’s trick as he rolled up Drew to secure a quick win.
This was also Rollins’ first win in 2025 after which he took part in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match where he was eliminated by CM Punk at the 26th spot.

The Visionary battled Judgement Day leader Finn Balor in the final men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying match in the 02/17 episode of Monday Night Raw. Both rivals put out an amazing match that captivated fans and in the end, Rollins landed a stomp to pick up the win and secure his spot in the Chamber match.
With the win, Rollins joined John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Damian Priest in the men’s Elimination Chamber match which is set for March 1 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada.
The Visionary took on CM Punk once again in a rematch on the March 10 episode, the meeting was set inside a steel cage. Punk and Rollins clashed in a steel cage match where, as expected, the two stars put on a show delivering multiple GTSs, Stomps, suplexes, and near pinfalls.
However, in the end, Rollins won the match as Roman Reigns returned and pulled him out of the ring, effectively meaning that Seth had escaped the cage and secured the victory.
Rollins recently emerged victorious in the triple-threat main event match at WrestleMania 41 (Night One) against Roman Reigns and CM Punk as Paul Heyman betrayed both Punk and Reigns to align with the Visionary.
Rollins most recently set to battled Cody Rhodes for the men’s Crown Jewel title in a ‘Champion vs Champion’ clash at Crown Jewel 2025.
