Seth Rollins pinned Cody Rhodes to capture the Crown Jewel title!

The 2025 edition of Crown Jewel concluded with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defeating Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to capture the 2025 men’s Crown Jewel Championship. With the win, Rollins registers his first victory against Rhodes.

In their previous three televised and 22 encounters overall, Rhodes was undefeated against Rollins, which put Rollins on the back foot before the match even began. However, Rollins defied the odds to pin Cody for the first time.

With the win and conclusion of the PLE, the focus has once again shifted back to the World Heavyweight title currently held by Rollins. Ahead of the upcoming fallout show of Monday Night Raw, let us take a look at the top three stars who could challenge him for the title.

3. LA Knight

After pinning Seth Rollins at the July edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, LA Knight has been rallying for a well-deserved title shot since Rollins won the World Heavyweight title. Fans, too, have been demanding a well-deserved push for Knight after his US title loss and subsequent transfer for the Red brand. After another win in a tag team match last week, Knight could challenge Rollins for the title.

2. Jey Uso

‘Main Event’ Jey Uso defied odds to submit Gunther at WrestleMania 41 and win his second singles title. However, he lost the World Heavyweight title in a rematch against Gunther. Since the guidance of Roman Reigns, Jey is trying to put forth his needs and regain the throne. Similar to last week, Jey could also intervene and make his case, as he never got the rematch.

1. CM Punk

In his return last week, CM Punk, fresh off his Wrestlepalooza win over Rollins and Becky Lynch in the mixed tag team match alongside AJ Lee, revealed that he was not going to do anything until Crown Jewel due to his promise to Cody Rhodes. However, now Punk will likely push for the title clash, especially since he managed to capture the title after a decade, only for Rollins to cash in and pin Punk at SummerSlam.

There are reports of the two headlining the November 1 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event with the Heavyweight title on the line. WWE is likely going to either book the three in a number-one-contenders’ match or reignite the feud between Rollins and Punk, leading to the clash.
