CM Punk returns; The Usos' reunion & other storylines to watch on WWE RAW (December 15, 2025)

With John Cena’s farewell tour in the rearview mirror, WWE is now set to deliver the fallout show of the Red brand. The December 15 episode of WWE Raw will emanate live from the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Multiple stars, including CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Becky Lynch, and LA Knight, among others, are currently being advertised for the show. The promotion has announced multiple matches, including a title clash and the return of the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk.

Rey Mysterio and Logan Paul will settle their differences in the ring, while Maxxine Dupri will defend the IC title against Ivy Nile. Ahead of this week’s show in Hershey, let us take a look at the top four storylines that will be in play on this week’s WWE Raw.

4. What’s next for Bayley?

After missing multiple PLEs, including WrestleMania 41, Bayley recently lost in her singles clash against NXT’s Sol Ruca. WWE also failed to capitalize on the split persona angle and her highly teased heel turn. Bayley is currently teaming up with Lyra Valkyria, who was also in her corner during the recent match against Ruca at SNME.

While the two have openly expressed their goal of capturing the Women’s Tag Team Titles, it seems unlikely that WWE will put the belts on them, especially with several big names in the mix and the recent spotlight on other storylines. This has once again left Bayley in a difficult position, frustrating fans who feel she isn’t being given strong storylines. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for her next.

3. The Usos’ reunion

The Usos (Jey & Jimmy Uso) last week announced their return to the tag team division in a segment involving the New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) and the World Tag Team Champions, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Jimmy and Jey then flattened the New Day, who tried to attack them, but failed.

Fans have long called for the reunion of The Usos, and their return is expected to inject new energy into the tag team division. It seems unlikely that Styles and Lee are part of WWE’s long-term plans, and Jey and Jimmy recapturing the World Tag Team Titles could open the door to many intriguing new matchups and feuds.

2. The vicious attack on LA Knight

During the closing moments of the show last week, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Bron Breakker punished LA Knight who refused to quit despite taken backstage by the medical team. This led to further punishment at the hands of Paul and Reed, the latter landing a Tsunami through a car roof.

The lack of cohesion among the babyfaces have meant an absolute dominance of the Vision. The brutal beatdown likely means Knight will be on a hiatus, making his return per the storyline demand to exact his revenge.

1. CM Punk returns

During the December 12 episode of SmackDown, WWE announced CM Punk’s return for next week’s show. Punk has been absent from WWE programming since Survivor Series, where he was attacked by the masked man.

Punk will likely respond to the two scathing promos by Bron Breakker as he prepares to defend the World title against Breakker on the January 5, 2026 episode of Raw. The presence of the masked man is also an intriguing addition to his return as fans will have to tune in to find out if Punk too will meet the same fate as LA Knight from last week.
