Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch are one of the few wrestling couples, who achieved major success in the wrestling industry. They have been in the company for over a decade and have become one of the most popular wrestling couples. They are the only Grand Slam couples in WWE, who won all the championships in the company in their divisions.
The power duo are just two months away from their contract expiring and haven’t signed a contract extension or a new contract yet. Now a backstage report from WCW veteran reveals that Tony Khan is interested in making them All Elite offering them a multi-million contract.
Tony Khan’s interest in Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch
WCW veteran, Disco Inferno on a recent discussion on Keepin’ It 100 podcast, spoke about AEW CEO, Tony Khan’s interest in signing Free Agents. He was asked about Tony Khan’s statement that he is going to be aggressive in the Free Agency market with reference to Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch. As both didn’t sign a contract extension with WWE yet.
To which Inferno said that Tony Khan is interested in signing the couple and is willing to offer them $10 Million each to sign them. However it depends on whether they would take it or not. He said that if Tony is ready to spend $20M on each, he should spend $5M on video production for vignettes.
Disco Inferno said,
“Probably decent (on if Tony Khan will offer $10M each to sign Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch). Whether they take it or not is the question. If Tony [Khan] is willing to spend $20M on those two,
he should spend $5M on increasing video production. Have a team of guys that can produce vignettes and video packages.”
He also said that he sees no difference from the former WWE stars stepping in AEW. He said that the new car hype will be just for a day, and the flourished car smell would be gone the next day, referencing Mercedes Mone debut.
Will Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch be signing a contract extension with WWE or will be entering Free Agency to explore opportunities for potentially jumping ship to AEW? Comment your thoughts in the comments section below.
