Main Event Jey Uso is the new Intercontinental Champion in his first reign!

Jey Uso is one of the biggest babyfaces and the most celebrated wrestlers among fans on the active WWE roster. The former Right Handman of Roman Reigns split his path with The Bloodline and turned face in mid-2023. Ever since he left The Bloodline, Jey started working as a singles wrestler and gained huge attention from the WWE Universe.

Jey had a long pursuit to win his first singles championship and finally won the Intercontinental Championship by defeating Bron Breakker, last week on WWE Raw. As Jey is set to make his first appearance as a singles champion on this week’s Raw, here we take a look at the top five things Jey Uso could do on the show.

5. Plan to become a double champ

Months ago, Jey Uso told Sami Zayn that he had a plan to become a double champ, by defeating Judgment Day for the World Tag Team Championship. Since Jey and Priest already pinned Finn Balor & JD McDonagh, they could ask for a tag team title match after the Bad Blood PLE to take the title away from them.

4. Have Terror Twins back 

Jey Uso has been on good terms with the Terror Twins and has the back of Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest. Since this week’s Raw is the final episode before Bad Blood, there is a high chance that Judgment Day could attack the Terror Twins. At this stage, Jey could be having Ripley & Priest’s back, defending them from Judgment Day’s attack.

3. Give rematch to Bron Breakker

After losing the title last week, Bron Breakker could confront Jey this Monday and could demand a rematch, trying to regain the title. Jey could address Bron’s challenge and could offer Breakker a rematch for next week, making it the last title shot for Breakker.

2. Open Challenge

The mid-card titles in WWE are known to be defended week after week on the TV shows. Sami Zayn did the same when he held the IC title proving himself as a fighting champion. Similar to that, Jey could offer an open challenge this week on the red brand, for any stars in the locker room to step in for the match.

1. Championship celebration

Jey Uso could be having his championship celebration this Monday Night. This is the first ever singles title for Jey and he has won the title after a long struggle. Jey went emotional after winning the title and he could have an emotional in-ring celebration. Jey also could celebrate with his Dawg Sami Zayn or with Rhea Ripley, who celebrated Jey’s win after the match from the back.
