The Ultimate Luchador has been in wrestling since the age of 14 and has been winning the hearts of millions of wrestling fans for the past three and a half decades. He represents the tradition of Mexican Lucha Libre style of wrestling and is considered as ‘The Ultimate Luchador’. He is a 16-time champion in WWE and has a great legacy with the company.
Mysterio was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023 for his contributions to the wrestling industry. He is the first person to be inducted into the Hall of Fame with an active wrestling career. Rey has always been the biggest babyface throughout his reign, however it is reported that Rey played a villainous role, but this time as a stunt double in Hollywood.
Rey Mysterio was Freddy Krueger’s stunt double
A user on X tweeted that Rey Mysterio was the stunt double of Rebert Englund in the 2003 movie Freddy vs Jason, where he was credited for the role. To which Dominik Mysterio, Rey’s son, stepped into the conversation and took a shot saying “False”. Dom would have said this to continue his ongoing rivalry with his father Rey, but Rey’s role as the stunt double in the movie is real.
Most of them would have wondered about the height difference between the two men. However the mind-blowing fact is that Rey was the one who did the mind-blowing stunts for the role.
What is the story of Freddy vs Jason?
Freddy vs Jason is a 20023 American Supernatural slasher film directed by Ronny Yu and written by Samian Shannon & Mark Swift. This is a crossover film between A Night on Elm Street and Friday the 13th franchises. Where the story is about the ego clash between two antagonists Freddy Krueger & Jason Voorhees.
The story begins with Freddy being forgotten by the citizens of his home town, which obstructs him from hunting people. Springwood was the one who defended people using the medications to repress dreams. Freddy to stir this up awakened Jason to fear people and grow his powers, but Jason couldn’t be controlled by Freddy. This brought a conflict among these supernatural mass murderers. Who won the ego clash is the main core of the movie.
