Xavier Woods has been teasing of turning into a heel in the ongoing storyline!
Xavier Woods is one of the most extremely talented, however, one of the underrated talents in the active WWE roster. The 38-year-old has been in WWE since 2010, however, achieved major spotlight and success as a member of the New Day. He is a twelve-time champion in WWE and is one-half of the Third Triple Crown Champions.
Although Woods had a great run in the tag team division, he hasn’t won any singles championship in WWE, whereas the other members of the New Day have done. This added pressure on Woods who has been losing his mind, in his attempt to win his first singles championship. The recent weeks suggest the heel turn of Woods and here are the top five ways he could turn heel.
5. Removing Rey’s mask was on purpose
Xavier Woods on the 9/30 episode of SmackDown, secured the win against Rey Mysterio by ripping his mask. Although Woods claimed that he didn’t do it on purpose, Woods used the opportunity to pin Rey for the win. Woods could reveal that he did it on purpose and make the WWE Universe turn against him. With fans turning on Woods, this naturally sets the stage for a big heel turn.
4. Follow the advice of Karrion Kross
Xavier Woods could follow the advice of Karrion Kross, who has been asking to follow in his footsteps. Kross recently gave a piece of advice to The Miz, who turned on R-Truth to become heel. Kross became extremely happy following that. Similarly, Woods could turn on Kofi based on the advice of Kross and join hands with the Final Testament to achieve his goal, which he failed to achieve with New Day.
3. Accidental interference of Kofi next week
As Xavier Woods is set to face Jey Uso for the IC title next week, Kofi Kingston could be on the ringside to cheer him up. However, Kofi could try to help Woods and could backfire, helping Jey retain the title. At this stage, Woods could attack Kofi Kingston for causing his match and officially turn himself into a heel

This could result in weeks of drama, where people will be wondering who could attack Kofi and the CCTV footage will reveal that it was Woods and thereby turn him heel, saying that Kofi is the weak point in New Day.
1. Turning after losing the IC title match next week
Xavier Woods is all set to face Jey Uso for the Intercontinental Championship next week on Raw. This is one of the important matches for Woods and the championship win could solve every problem within the New Day.
Woods is expected to give his 100% during the match and could use cheap tricks, which he did to pin Rey and tried to grab Gable’s leg to help Kofi. With Woods losing the match, he could turn heel by attacking Jey Uso as an act of frustration and turn heel.
