Pat McAfee was replaced by The Miz for commentary on 6/24 WWE Raw
Pat McAfee & Michael Cole are the official color commentators for WWE’s prime television show, Monday Night Raw. They have been assigned for Monday Nights and have been working together since January 2024. McAfee has been having fun at the commentary desk and added more character to the shows.
McAfee on the June 24, 2024 episode of Raw didn’t appear for the show and he was replaced by The Miz for the first hour, however, Miz left Cole alone for his match in the main event. Cole was in the commentary alone for the last two hours and doing it all by himself. So why does Pat McAfee not appear on this week’s WWE Raw?
Pat McAfee is targeted by Wyatt Sicks
Ahead of Monday Night Raw, Pat McAfee on the Pat McAfee Show had a long chat with WWE’s CCO, Paul Levesque Triple H and discussed a lot of things. During the interview, the stream was interrupted by the Wyatt Sicks vignette with the message saying “You Lied”. This hints that McAfee would have been targeted by Uncle Howdy & The Wyatt Sicks faction.
The same thing happened in the previous stream where the segment ended with Wyatt’s signature end card.
On the 6/24 Raw, in McAfee’s absence, Nikki Cross (Abby The Witch) made her appearance interrupting Chad Gable’s celebration and handed over a parcel box to Michael Cole. The parcel was in the name of Pat McAfee and inside the box was a VHS tape. Which later played to be an interview, where Uncle Howdy questioned Bo Dallas.
All these hints that Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks would have targeted Pat McAfee, however there is no update from McAfee or any backstage update on it. But the latest update suggests he was out of RAW due to a family emergency.
Michael Cole was also on the Pat McAfee show before Triple H appeared on the show, but he was back for the show. Some WWE fans believe that Uncle Howdy would have targeted Triple H, as it could have helped Howdy take over WWE from him.
It is unknown who Wyatt Sicks’ next target is and why they are doing this. It would be interesting to see when McAfee comes back unharmed and addresses what happened to him.
