The mystery potentially surrounding Uncle Howdy has been prevalent since WrestleMania 40

Ever since WWE ushered into a brand new era with The Game, Paul “Triple H” Levesque at the helm of the corporate structure, WWE has been enveloped in an intriguing mystery. For weeks, the fans have witnessed deliberate screen glitches and QR codes appearing on WWE television programming, deleted social media tweets, and eerie music engulfing arenas before the shows went on air.

Speculations have been relating these activities to the impending debut of WWE Superstar Bo Dallas under his Uncle Howdy gimmick. Moreover, it has also been rumored that he would bring a force of underutilized WWE talent with him to unleash upon the landscape and continue the legacy of his late brother, Bray Wyatt.

With that in mind, here are the five top WWE superstars this new dark force can target upon their arrival:

5. Bobby Lashley

The last feud in which Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy were involved together was against Bobby Lashley and saw multiple encounters between the trio with a rumored WrestleMania match planned for them.

However, after Bray Wyatt was taken off television due to health reasons, the storyline was completely abandoned. With Uncle Howdy’s potential return on the horizon, WWE could pick up business right they left off and have Howdy and his faction target Lashley and his group, The Pride.

4. Cody Rhodes

The biggest way for Uncle Howdy and his dark stable to make an impact would be to target the top guy in the business at the moment, Cody Rhodes.

The American Nightmare has faced multiple challenges, but none like Bray Wyatt or the man to carry forward his legacy, Uncle Howdy. Therefore, Howdy and his faction targeting the current Undisputed WWE Champion would make headlines and cement them as a force to be reckoned with.

3. LA Knight

LA Knight was Bray Wyatt’s last formidable foe and opponent in a Pitch Black match at the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble edition. Moreover, this storyline also saw the introduction of Uncle Howdy who memorably delivered a splash onto LA Knight at the aforementioned event from a height above.

Much like Lashley, Uncle Howdy and his faction, possibly being heel could go up against the now Megastar and popular babyface, LA Knight in a classic feud.

2. Randy Orton

Randy Orton was one of the most iconic rivals of Bray Wyatt in his career. From squaring off in two WrestleMania matches to decimating each other and even having fire surrounding the ring in one of those matches, their rivalry was second-par to none.

With Orton still in his prime and established as a remarkable veteran, Uncle Howdy and his faction could benefit a lot by going after the equally psychotic and dangerous Apex Predator in Randy Orton.

1. CM Punk

The Best in the World, CM Punk has a unique history with Bray Wyatt dating back to their time in the Nexus in 2011. At that time, Punk famously beat up Wyatt with a leather strap as part of his initiation into the new group led by him.

Moreover, the latest QR code on Friday Night SmackDown saw an eerie version of WWE’s introduction video in which CM Punk’s graphic was replaced by Bray Wyatt’s guiding light, Sister Abigail. With history and recent events tied together, it seems CM Punk could be the first target for Uncle Howdy and his faction.
