Bryan Danielson saved his career as he is our NEW AEW World Champion

The match kicks off with a fierce exchange as Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson immediately engage in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Strickland takes control with a headlock takeover, but Danielson counters with head scissors.

The action quickly escalates as they trade chops and foreheads, with Strickland taunting Danielson’s family before Bryan fires back with a suplex counter.

Strickland’s assault intensifies, including a quebradora and a vertical suplex, but Bryan’s resilience shines through with a springboard senton atomico and a series of punishing kicks.

Strickland, visibly shaken, works Bryan’s shoulder with hard whips and a Dragon’s Cross armbar. The match turns brutal when Swerve executes a Death Valley Driver onto the ring bell at the apron, causing Bryan to bleed profusely.

Strickland taunts Bryan Danielson’s family and aggressively grinds his fist into Bryan’s open wound, but Bryan responds with a powerful back superplex.

As Bryan battles on, the camera captures a poignant moment: Bryan’s young daughter, Birdy, is visibly crying at ringside, overwhelmed by the intense match.

Despite this emotional distraction, Bryan continues to fight with remarkable fortitude, countering a Swerve Stomp into a Regal Stretch.

Strickland struggles to break free, and Bryan Danielson lands a series of running corner dropkicks and a Buzzsaw roundhouse kick.

Danielson sets up for a Tiger Suplex, but Strickland continues to resist. The action becomes more desperate with a Busaku Knee from Bryan, only for Swerve to kick out.

In a dramatic turn, Hangman Adam Page appears, confronting Prince Nana, which momentarily distracts Strickland.

This allows Bryan to deliver a third Busaku Knee and eventually lock in a LeBell Lock. Strickland struggles but Danielson’s tenacity prevails as he traps Swerve’s far arm, forcing the submission.

Bryan Danielson emerges victorious, winning by submission with an arm-trap LeBell Lock to claim the AEW World Championship.

Post-match, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta assist Bryan’s family over the barricade as they celebrate in the ring.

The emotional scene is capped off with fireworks and Bryan’s family, including Birdy, who holds the championship and is comforted by Bryan. Bryan shares a kiss with Brie Bella, and the night ends with confetti falling as Bryan embraces his children, a fitting tribute to his monumental victory.
