CM Punk chants broke out during the match
The match at AEW All In 2024 began with the Young Bucks playing it safe, hanging back while FTR and the Acclaimed squared off. As the chaos unfolded, the Bucks quickly made their presence felt, reentering the ring and taking control.
They sent both teams packing with double atomic drops but didn’t stay on top for long. FTR and the Acclaimed regrouped and began working over Wheeler with some quick tags.
Bowens hit a Fameasser on Matt Jackson, and a superkick from Nick Jackson resulted in a near fall. Caster and Bowens then took advantage, double-teaming the Bucks with their signature move, the DOUBLE SCISSOR ME TIMBERS.
The Bucks regained control by isolating Harwood, but FTR fought back with a flurry of offense. Both Dax and Cash hit simultaneous German suplexes on the Bucks and attempted double covers, but only got a two-count.
The action escalated with a superplex on Matt Jackson, who countered a follow-up splash attempt with his knees up. A second attempt, this time a 450 splash, also met the same fate with knees up, leaving all six competitors down in the ring. They rose simultaneously, only to exchange double lariats, which knocked everyone down again.
The Young Bucks shifted momentum by targeting Wheeler. Nick Jackson plucked Wheeler off the turnbuckles with a slingshot head scissors, only to get shoved to the floor. FTR responded with the Shatter Machine, but Nick pulled the referee
Rick Knox was out of the ring to break the count and fled from an enraged Billy Gunn. In the ensuing chaos, Nick hit a superkick on Billy Gunn, sending him flying, and then delivered a slingshot X-Factor followed by a diving DDT to the floor.
Attempting the EVP Trigger on Harwood, Cash Wheeler broke up the move just in time. Max Caster tried to sell Matt Jackson into doing the EVP Trigger himself, but it was a ruse. He blocked a kick and shoved Jackson off, setting up another Shatter Machine with Caster. Bowens followed up with a diving uppercut to break up the pin.
The Young Bucks then resorted to underhanded tactics, hitting low blows on their opponents and signaling for a Superkick Party.
They connected, but it was only enough for a two-count. Billy Gunn reentered the fray, delivering a Fameasser onto one of the championship titles, followed by The Arrival from Bowens and Mic Drop from Caster. Just as it seemed like the Acclaimed would secure the win, Nick Jackson broke up the pinfall at the last moment.
Nick then nearly stole the match with a folding press near fall on Dax, setting up for another EVP Trigger. However, the match ended in a thrilling, chaotic sequence that left the audience on the edge with the Young Bucks retaining their championship.
