21. Dhruv Jurel – ₹20 lakhs:

Dhruv Jurel was acquired by RR for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Having featured in 13 matches and accumulated 152 runs, Jurel got retained by RR for 20 lakhs for the IPL 2024.
20. Kuldeep Sen – ₹20 lakhs:
Kuldeep Sen was purchased by RR for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Having participated in 9 matches and securing 8 wickets thus far, Sen got retained by RR for 20 lakhs for the IPL 2024.
19. Kunal Rathore – ₹20 lakhs:
Kunal Rathore was acquired by RR for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2023 auction but hasn’t played any matches yet. Despite this, RR retained him for 20 lakhs for IPL 2024.
18. Abid Mushtaq – ₹20 lakhs:

Rajasthan Royals acquired services of South African spin bowler Keshav Maharaj as replacement of Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna. Maharaj was part of LSG camp as a non-squad member before being roped in by RR for the season at his base price of Rs. 50 lakhs.
15. Sandeep Sharma – ₹50 lakhs:

In 2023, following an unsuccessful bid in the auction, Sharma was enlisted by the Rajasthan Royals as a replacement for the injured Prasidh Krishna for 50 lakhs. Before joining RR, he represented Punjab Kings (2013-2017, 2022) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (2018-2021). Throughout his career, spanning 116 matches, Sharma has accumulated 124 wickets. He got retained by RR for 50 lakhs for the IPL 2024.
14. Nandre Burger – ₹50 lakhs:
Nandre Burger was purchased by RR for 50 lakhs at the IPL 2024 auction. This marks his debut season in the IPL, and he aims to seize every opportunity to make a significant impact in IPL 2024 when given the chance to play.
13. Donovan Ferreira – ₹50 lakhs:
Donovan Ferreira was purchased by RR at the IPL 2023 auction for 50 lakhs. He is yet to make his debut in the IPL. Despite this, He got retained by RR for 50 lakhs for the IPL 2024.
12. Navdeep Saini – ₹2.6 crores:
Navdeep Saini was acquired by RR at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 2.6 crores. Prior to joining RR, he represented Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru). So far, he has participated in 32 matches, securing 23 wickets. RR retained him for 2.6 crores for the IPL 2024.
11. Riyan Parag – ₹3.8 crores:

Riyan Parag was initially purchased by RR for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2019 auction. At the IPL 2022 mega auction, he was reacquired by RR for 3.8 crores. Up to this point, he has participated in 54 matches, accumulating 600 runs. He got retained by RR for 3.8 crores for the IPL 2024.
10. Yashasvi Jaiswal – ₹4 crores:

Yashasvi Jaiswal was acquired by RR at the IPL 2020 auction for 2.4 crores. To date, he has participated in 37 matches, amassing a total of 1172 runs. He was retained by RR for 4 crores ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction and got retained for the same amount for the IPL 2024 for 4 crores.
9. R. Ashwin – ₹5 crores:

Ravichandran Ashwin was acquired by Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 5 crores. Prior to joining RR, he had stints with Chennai Super Kings, Rising Pune Supergiant, Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings) and Delhi Capitals. Throughout his IPL career spanning 197 matches, Ashwin has taken 171 wickets. RR retained him for the IPL 2024 for the same amount of 5 crores.
8. Shubham Dubey – ₹5.8 crores:
Shubham Dubey, a batsman from Vidarbha, was acquired by Rajasthan Royals (RR) for 5.8 crores at the IPL 2024 auction. This marks his debut season in the IPL and Dubey is eager to seize every opportunity on the field to showcase his talent and contribute to the team’s success in IPL 2024.
7. Yuzvendra Chahal – ₹6.5 crores:

Yuzvendra Chahal was secured by RR for 6.5 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to his stint with RR, he played for Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru). Chahal has participated in 145 matches to date, claiming 187 wickets. RR retained him for the IPL 2024 for the same amount of 6.5 crores.
6. Rovman Powell – ₹7.4 crores:
Rovman Powell was acquired by RR for 7.4 crores at the IPL 2024 auction. Prior to joining RR, he was associated with Kolkata Knight Riders, although without featuring in any matches, and then played for Delhi Capitals. Powell has participated in 17 matches so far, accumulating 257 runs.
5. Trent Boult – ₹8 crores:

Trent Boult was acquired by RR for 8 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining RR, he represented Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, and Mumbai Indians. Boult has played in 88 matches so far, taking 105 wickets. He got retained by RR for 8 crores for the IPL 2024.
4. Shimron Hetmyer – ₹8.5 crores:

Shimron Hetmyer was acquired by RR at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 8.5 crores. Prior to joining RR, he represented Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru) and Delhi Capitals. To date, Hetmyer has participated in 60 matches, accumulating 1131 runs. He got retained by RR for 8.5 crores for the IPL 2024.
3. Avesh Khan – ₹10 crores:

Avesh Khan was traded by RR from Lucknow Super Giants before the IPL 2024 auction. His salary for the IPL 2024 will be 10 crores. Prior to his tenure with RR, he played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru), Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants. In his IPL career thus far, spanning 47 matches, Khan has taken 55 wickets.
2. Jos Buttler – ₹10 crores:

Jos Buttler was secured by RR at the IPL 2018 auction for 4.4 crores. Prior to joining RR, he played for Mumbai Indians. Over the course of his IPL career, spanning 96 matches, Buttler has amassed 3223 runs, including 5 centuries and 19 half-centuries. He was retained for 10 crores ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction and got retained for the same amount for the IPL 2024.
1. Sanju Samson – ₹14 crores:

Sanju Samson was acquired for the second time by RR at the IPL 2018 auction for 8 crores. Prior to rejoining Rajasthan Royals, he played for them from 2013 to 2015 and then for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) from 2016 to 2017. In his IPL career spanning 152 matches, Samson has accumulated 3888 runs. He was retained by Rajasthan Royals for 14 crores ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction and got retained again for the same amount for the IPL 2024.
