Delhi Soccer Association suspends Ahbab FC with immediate effect

The controversy unfolded during a recent match between Ahbab FC and Rangers in the Delhi Premier League when two own goals were scored by Ahbab FC in the closing stages of the game. Indian football president Kalyan Chaubey expressed his apprehensions on Twitter (X), acknowledging the seriousness of the situation. He stated, “We’ve been made aware of videos circulating on SM, raising serious suspicion on Delhi Premier League. Prima facie, it’s very concerning.” Chaubey further emphasised ongoing efforts to combat such instances within Indian football, affirming a commitment to the integrity of the sport.
