Josep Gombau: We have to start thinking about the next game

The Odisha FC head coach also revealed he feels that despite the loss his side's display was upto the mark.
The clash between Odisha FC and Bengaluru FC in Pune ended with the visitors taking away all three points, thanks to a solitary goal scored in the 37th minute. Odisha FC now lie in sixth place in the standings, while Bengaluru FC cemented their place at the top. Following the defeat against the Blues, Odisha FC head coach Josep Gombau spoke about his side's performance in the post-match press conference.
“Very poor game. Of course, the result is not the best and as a professional coach, you want to win. Because it is how the people evaluate your job, with the wins or the losses,” Josep Gombau began.

Josep Gombau’s side trailed in the game in the first half, courtesy to a goal by Juanan in the 37th minute. Although, the new entrants could not come back from the deficit, the Odisha FC boss hailed his side’s performance in the second half.
Thoughts On Odisha FC's Performance In Second Half
“We had more of the ball. Second half was for us. We had some chances also in set-pieces. We hit the post. We had two more chances,” Josep Gombau opined.
“We are going out with no points, but I think the image and the way we played is very good,” the tactician added.
“The team that wins the game, it is because they put the ball in the net and the other team don’t. As a coach, I can’t say anything to any player. Everyone works well. Our gameplan works because I think we had a few chances and we competed very well today,” Josep Gombau elaborated before adding, “We have to take the positives from this and start thinking about the next game.” [KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | Article Continues Below"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Odisha FC take on Hyderabad FC in their next match, which will be a must win for both sides, if they are to push for a spot in the playoffs of the competition.
“We have one week in front of us. Tomorrow we will have a recovery session. We are going to Mumbai because we do not have a training field here, which is also something, that for us, is very difficult.” the 43-year-old quipped.
“I am sure that we will be ready to play the game and win," he concluded.
