Top five active men's singles players with most ATP Tour matches

5. Andy Murray: 1001 Matches
Despite facing numerous injury setbacks throughout his career, Andy Murray has consistently showcased his skills and determination on the ATP Tour. He has won 46 singles titles, including three Grand Slams, 14 Masters 1000 Series titles, two Olympic gold medals and a title at the ATP Finals.
The three-time Grand Slam champion recently became the fifth active male to compete in 1000th ATP Tour-level matches when he faced Australian Alexei Popyrin at the Queen’s Club. He played brilliantly in one of the most important matches of his career and registered a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 win over the World No. 48 to make it a memorable contest.
Murray withdrew from the ATP 500 event due to injury and underwent another surgery, but fans will hope they get to see their favourite star in action at Wimbledon.
4. Richard Gasquet: 1005 Matches
Known for his elegant single-handed backhand, Richard Gasquet has been around the tennis circuit for a long time now. The Frenchman is a three-time Grand Slam semi-finalist, which speaks volumes about his qualities on the court.
He is the fourth active men’s singles player to feature in more than 1000 ATP Tour-level matches. Gasquet’s precise shot-making and tactical acumen have earned him 16 ATP singles titles, firmly establishing him as a respected competitor on the ATP Tour.
His ability to compete at a high level, coupled with his sportsmanship, have endeared him to fans around the world.
3. Fernando Verdasco: 1006 Matches
Fernando Verdasco is the third active player on the circuit to play more than 1000 ATP Tour-level matches and will look to continue the momentum in the upcoming tournaments. Coming from Spain, Verdasco has a powerful left-handed game and has left a big mark on the ATP Tour.
His aggressive baseline play and thunderous forehand have also earned him admiration and success, including seven ATP singles titles.
2. Rafael Nadal: 1300 Matches
Hailed as the “King of Clay,” Rafael Nadal is one of the greatest tennis players of all-time. Having won 22 Grand Slam titles, including an unprecedented 14 French Open titles, the Spaniard has entered the last few years of his professional career.
He is only the second active player on the circuit to play more than 1200 ATP Tour-level matches. Nadal’s relentless intensity, powerful topspin forehand and exceptional defensive skills have allowed him to perform well on all surfaces.
Including his Grand Slam trophies, Nadal has notched up 92 ATP singles titles and multiple records, together with a record-breaking 36 Masters titles.

Novak Djokovic has solidified his place among the sport’s elite with an unparalleled level of athleticism, mental fortitude, technical prowess and longevity. Holding an impressive record of 24 Grand Slam titles, Djokovic has conquered all four major tournaments multiple times, showcasing his versatility and dominance on every surface.
The Serbian tennis maestro is the first active player on the circuit to play more than 1300 ATP Tour-level matches. Djokovic’s rise to prominence saw him break into the tennis scene in the mid-2000s and rule the rankings for a long time.
His unmatched consistency has enabled him to maintain the World No. 1 ranking for extended periods, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest players in tennis history.
