Top five women's singles players with best odds to win Wimbledon 2025

As past champions fade, a new queen could rise in Wimbledon 2025.

Serena Williams successfully defended her crown in 2016, which happened to be her seventh and final triumph at the prestigious All England Club. From 2017 to 2025, each year has witnessed unprecedented action in the women’s arena, with a unique name emerging as the winner on each instance.

Betting on any player from the current field list of WTA is tricky, but the rewards are richer. Unlike ATP, there is no outright favourite for Wimbledon 2025. Anyone could stun the tennis fraternity, as was the case last year when Barbora Krejcikova seeded 31st lifted her maiden SW19 title.

For those looking to place a bet on the upcoming marquee event, here are the top five players with the best odds and why they’re worth backing.

Top five women’s singles players with the best odds of winning Wimbledon 2025

Aryna Sabalenka (+290)

Aryna Sabalenka, despite never having won a WTA title on grass or reached a Wimbledon final before, enters as the top favourite for the 2025 Championships. The Belarusian’s strong form this year, including finals at both Grand Slam majors and three titles from five additional finals, a potential reason why odds tracker places her at the top of this chart.

Even after a semi-final loss to Vondrousova in Berlin, her gritty win over Rybakina showcased her resilience under pressure. Following two consecutive Grand Slam final defeats, Sabalenka will be determined to finally capture the most prestigious trophy at the All England Club.

Elena Rybakina (+550)

Elena Rybakina’s recent form might make many question why she is second on this list. However, she is the best player on grass on the current WTA tour. The Kazakh has the game and skill at her disposal to thrive on this surface and repeat her 2022 heroics.

She has time and again shown, that she can beat anyone and everyone, however a lot would hinge on which Rybakina turns up at SW19. The eleventh seed’s notable big serves are both her strength and weakness, and if she can keep her composure and seize the big moments, a second Wimbledon title could be on its way for the Kazakh.

Coco Gauff (+800)

Coco Gauff’s recent Roland Garros triumph keeps her in the reckoning for the grass court Slam, despite her average record on this surface. Oddstracker seems to have been influenced by recent form here, as while the American’s talent is exceptional, there are several players who have a more potent game on grass, as compared to Gauff. Hence, this could be a risky and unwise option for a title contender.

Iga Swiatek (+950)

Unlike Gauff, Iga Swiatek enters SW19 on the back of a shocking clay season, where she failed to reach the final in any of the events. The Pole’s first appearance in a summit clash since Garros 2024, came at her least preferred surface, in Homburg on grass.

The former No. 1 could feed off the fact that she is under little pressure, with few points to defend, but her defeat to Pegula in the recent final, yet again highlights her limited capabilities on grass.

Marketa Vondrousova (+1500)

An unseeded dark horse and the 2024 champion, Marketa Vondrousova is a player who could stun everyone once again. The Czech has been largely absent this season but returns to the spotlight at exactly the right moment. She ousted top seed Sabalenka en route to her first title since Wimbledon, in Berlin.

Interestingly, Vondrousova could face the Belarusian again in the early rounds of Wimbledon 2025. While her road to glory will be very challenging, as she is unseeded and might have to face many high-ranked opponents early — this could be a blessing in disguise, given the poor records held by some top seeds on grass.

Vondrousova would definitely be a risky bet, but as a proven performer on this surface, she is someone to watch out for.
