First match for WWE Superstar Spectacle in India revealed by Jinder Mahal
WWE will host a grand live event on September 8 in India for the first time in six years. Last time WWE hosted an event in India was in 2017 at Mumbai. Since WWE is returning to home after so long, there is high anticipation for the show. As multiple world champions are said to tour India, including the 16-time World Champion John Cena the expectation kept increasing. Although there are lots of stars featured, WWE haven’t released a match card yet. At this stage the former World Champion, Jinder Mahal revealed the first match for the 2023 WWE Superstar Spectacle in India.
First Match? Championship on the line?
Jinder Mahal in his recent interview with Sportskeeda, the first match of the WWE Superstar Spectacle in India that is scheduled for the September 8 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. The Modern Day Maharaja said that the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sani Zayn and Kevin Owens will defend their on the line against the homies Indus Sher in India for the first time.
Veer Mahan and Sangha from the Indus Sher will have their first championship match in front of their home crowd, this would give a great cheer to them and would motivate them to achieve more in their wrestling careers.
WWE has previously announced that John Cena will be wrestling in a match in India for the first time, since his opponent is not revealed, Mahal’s report on the tag team match remains the first match of the Superstar Spectacle.
Indus Sher’s second Superstar Spectacle
This is not the first time for the Indus Sher to get featured in Superstar Spectacle, they already fought their first match in the 2021 edition of Superstar Spectacle. In which Indus Sher joined hands with Drew McIntyre and fought against Jinder Mahal and The Bollywood Boyz and won. Although it was held in the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, this year’s event is the first event for them in India.
