Top five superstars The Great Khali could face in his final WWE match
The Great Khali was inducted into WWE Hall of Fame in 2021 and was not seen in WWE. However Khali appeared on the 2023 WWE Superstar Spectacle in his home country. Khali addressed the WWE Universe in India and announced that he has one more match left in him. With Khali teasing his last match, who will be his opponent? Here we speculate five possible opponents of The Great Khali.
5. Zack Ryder
Former WWE Wrestler Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) has recently posted on X by retweeting Khali's statement and said that "I want Great Khali". The former Intercontinental champion is currently wrestling for NWA and is looking to find a contract in WWE. He previously in a tweet asked her wife (Chelsea Green) to talk for him to Triple H. Not sure, but might expect a return to the company in the future
4. Veer Mahan
Veer Mahan has been a dominant force in WWE since his debut, similar to how Khali was on his debut. But Mahan is constantly failing to secure a spot in the main roster and his appearance has become a cameo. A feud with an Indian Hall of Famer and defeating him might gain some attention and could help his career boom.
3. Jinder Mahal
Jinder Mahal and The Great Khali are the two Indian world champions. Both carried the nation on their shoulders and tried to deliver their best. Khali's last match with Mahal could be interesting and will be a contest to decide who is the dominant Indian World Champion. This match in their prime would have been great, but this still makes sense.
2. Shanky
Talking about Indian wrestlers, Shanky is another mighty Indian wrestler in the company. The contest between the two will be like the battle of two Indian Giants and it might help Shanky's career. This could be similar to passing the torch to the next Indian giant of the modern era.
1. "The Nigerian Giant" Omos
The most possible match that Khali could end up with is against the Nigerian Giant Omos. Omos is a mighty young wrestler, who has been sparring with some of the giants and monsters in the business of his size such as Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar and more. Thereby Omos will be the right opponent for Khali to have his farewell match with.
Although Khali said that he has one last match, we don't think he will return to the ring again. He is already 52 and retired almost a decade ago.
