“The American Nightmare” is looking for a manager
Cody Rhodes is one of the top babyfaces of WWE in the active roster, who has been having a great run as the Undisputed WWE Champion. Cody single-handedly fought for his goal to finish his story by becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion, although there was a big threat in The Bloodline against him.
Although Cody won the title all by himself, The American Nightmare in a recent interview teased that he is looking for a Manager to assist him on his current title reign.
Cody Rhodes wants a Manager
The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently appeared for an interview on Busted Open Radio, where Cody addressed the recent contract signing with Logan Paul and discussed that it would be great if he had a classic wrestling manager like Arn Anderson by his side to give him the advice and guide him right on his current title reign.
Cody Rhodes said,
“One of the reasons I liked having Arn Anderson around was the same reason I would have loved to have my dad around me. Because I’ll tell you I’m lucky and I’ll tell you how hard I work. I’ll tell you how grateful I am and that is true but it was nice to have a guy over my shoulder say what you just said and say we’re not apologizing for greatness where mediocrity loves company and we’re not joining that company.”
“It was nice to have that voice in your ear. It was something I missed when Logan and I were doing this contract signing to see him flanked by so many people. I don’t know. Maybe I’m looking for the classic wrestling manager to join me on this title reign. I don’t know who that is or what that is but it just felt like I wouldn’t mind someone to holler the stuff that you just did.”
Arn Anderson was Cody Rhodes’ Personal Advisor and Head Coach during his time in AEW. Following the interview, Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) on X teased saying that he knows a guy, referencing himself as the manager for Cody.
