WrestleMania, the pinnacle of sports entertainment, has played host to countless legendary confrontations, where rivalries collide in epic showdowns. Among the tapestry of unforgettable moments, a select few matches stand out for their remarkable duration, showcasing the endurance and drama that define this grand spectacle.

Leading the charge in this list of marathon bouts is none other than The Undertaker who will be making the list the most. His presence already looms large over the annals of WrestleMania history.

Here are the top six longest WWE WrestleMania matches of all-time:

6. The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels – WWE WrestleMania 25 (30:44)

Many many consider this to be the best bout in WM history, thanks in large part to the amount of time they were allowed to pull it off. Two of the all-time greats facing off at WrestleMania was always going to be a high-quality match.

They certainly delivered here, making the most of every opportunity to make this memorable. It was a highly contested and entertaining encounter that seemed unique at the time, and it remains one of the finest today.

5. The Undertaker vs Triple H – WWE WrestleMania XXVIII (30:50)

This is the second time this match has appeared on this list, indicating that they prefer having extended matches at WrestleMania. This was a fantastic battle, though, and told an incredible tale about the two of them and Shawn Michaels. Competing inside Hell in a Cell with HBK as the referee, Triple H nearly won the match. It was a thrilling contest, and given the amount of time they had to tell their tale, it certainly paid off.

4. Triple H vs The Rock vs The Big Show vs Mick Foley – WWE WrestleMania 2000 (36:24)

An elimination fatal four-way would usually take a long time. As a result, it comes as no surprise that the WM 2000 main event is one of the longest battles in the show’s history.

This bout is primarily recognized for McMahon’s presence in every corner, with the family overshadowing much of the plot and wrestling action. However, this is a key event that many fans remember fondly.

3. Edge vs Randy Orton – WWE WrestleMania 36 Night 2 (36:35)

Despite the fact that no spectators attended WrestleMania this year, Edge and Randy Orton put up a tremendous long bout. They may have gone a bit too long with this one, but it sure seemed like a nasty fight. They had a last man standing contest at work, which helped to explain why it was so long. However, with no fans and a lack of atmosphere, it was a long time to sit for most people.

2. The Rock & Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins – WWE WrestleMania XL (45)

The Rock and Roman Reigns add themselves onto another list. They both are already considered the greatest of their respective eras. During the WrestleMania 40, Day 1 main event The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins make history as they fight for a long 45 minutes. All four had an incredible match.

1. Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels – WWE WrestleMania XII (01:01:56)

There was only going to be one match at the top of this list, right? After all, the famous WrestleMania XII main event saw Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels competing in an ironman battle that lasted just over an hour. It has been regarded as one of the finest and most significant contests in wrestling history.

It took two amazing, technically gifted talents to pull it off, and it’s doubtful that something like this will happen again at WrestleMania, but it was a memorable battle.
