Shawn Michaels teases “big surprises” coming to WWE NXT on The CW Network

Shawn Michaels is excited for WWE NXT debut on The CW Network

WWE NXT is all set to move from the USA Network to The CW Network this week on October 1, 2024. The black and yellow roster has booked the grand launch to be one of the biggest events and booked a number of pay-per-view worthy matches for the first two weeks on CW Network.

Some big appearances and segments are also planned for the show, setting the hype among WWE fans. At this stage, NXT Vice-President Shawn Michaels teases big surprises at the premiere. 

Shawn Michaels teases major changes & surprises for WWE NXT

Shawn Michaels ahead of NXT debut on The CW Network appeared in an interview with Chicago Tribune. Where the Heartbreak Kid said that the black and yellow is set to go through big changes heading to the CW Network. He said that the roster still has the best talents in the world and they are trying to put more cool things in the CW launch.

Shawn Michaels said,

“Certainly we want to make a big splash on the CW Network. We’ll have some big changes, but I think more of that will be from a look and physical standpoint. We will still be what NXT is, which is bringing some of the most talented, young, diverse athletes in all of the nation, and developing them into the WWE superstars of tomorrow. The hunger, the passion that’s always been the core value of NXT is always going to be there. But certainly we’ll try to put on some pretty cool bells and whistles for the CW launch on Oct. 1.”

In another interview with Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown, Shawn Michaels said that the NXT roster has some of the best women’s wrestlers in the division along with two of the hottest free agents Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer. He also said that there are a lot of surprises coming down the road and we haven’t seen anything yet.

Shawn Michaels said,

“The best stacked women’s roster in all of the world, if you ask me. Roxanne Perez, Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, and then, of course, two of the hottest free agents in all the world with Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. And there are other big, big surprises coming down the pike. If you thought we were stacked before, you haven’t seen anything yet, and that goes on both sides of the roster.”
