The 8/30 episode of WWE SmackDown is the Bash in Berlin Go-home show!

WWE is all set to host the August 30, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown live from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. This is the Bash in Berlin Go-home episode of SmackDown and the company has booked some of the important matches and segments for the show. With just a few hours ahead of the event, here are the top three things to watch out for on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

3. LA Knight’s open challenge

LA Knight, after his first successful defense last week on SmackDown against Santos Escobar, appeared backstage for an interview. During the interview, the Megastar said that he is ready to make history, by defending his United States Championship on the line next week at Berlin. Knight issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room, to come and face him for the US title next week.

Who will address Knight’s open challenge? Will the mystery opponent dethrone Knight and become the new US champion? These are the ones to watch out for.

2. New Women’s Champion can be crowned

Nia Jax will be defending her WWE Women’s Championship against Michin in a street fight. This is the first championship defense for the Queen and it is expected to involve a lot of ringside weapons. Will Michin dethrone Nia Jax? Will Tiffany cash-in her MITB contract? How brutal the match can be? These are the things to watch out for.

1. Final face-off: Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens

Cody Rhodes is set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin. Ahead of their fight, both will be on SmackDown to have their final face-off cutting promos against each other for their match.

Although the match seemingly feels like the battle between two best friends. But with Owens’ previous betrayals in mind and the recent tease last week, anything can happen this week. On the other hand, both never had a face off before. Will Owens betray Rhodes a day before their match? What will they cook on the blue brand? These are the ones to watch out for.
