“The Scottish Warrior” lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Priest at WrestleMania XL

Drew McIntyre has been out of in-ting action for weeks due to his extended elbow injury. Despite being injured The Scottish Warrior shows up on television with his promos and building his future feuds. Last week he had a great promo against Damian Priest and got his wish, which is a future title shot at the World title.

McIntyre was called for this week, but his time was cut short very briefly within a few minutes, with a backstage segment. As Drew McIntyre didn’t got the time on the show, he went on to cut a promo on his X/Twitter and sent a warning to WWE, Adam Pearce and Damian Priest.

Drew McIntyre warns WWE & Adam Pearce

Drew McIntyre after the May 20, 2024 episode of Raw, posted a video on his X/Twitter, where McIntyre said that WWE Management and Adam Pearce are trying to silence him, however he can’t be silenced, as he is ahead of everybody. He claimed that he was asked to come for this show, but was not given the time slot for TV, so he forced his way on television.

McIntyre said,

“Management and Adam Pearce think they can silence me. They should already know, I’m Drew McIntyre, and I am very, very good at this. I’m always one step ahead of everybody. Bring me to the show, try not to put me on TV. No, I’ll force my way on TV, and in the end, I got this platform that’s growing. I will weaponize it, and I will say what I want, when I want. There’s not a damn thing you can do to stop me.”

Drew McIntyre’s message to Damian Priest

McIntyre then went on to address what he said about Damian Priest on Raw. The Scottish Warrior said that Priest lost his control of Judgment Day. Drew claimed that it is his locker room always, no matter if he got the title or not. He addressed Damian Priest point, which he spoke while confronting McIntyre last week about what happened at WrestleMania.

Drew said, “You made one good point last week though. It wasn’t about getting attacked from behind by that bitch CM Punk, it wasn’t about leaving right away after the match, which I should have done, even though I literally spelled out what I planned to do, looking for your cheap pops. It certainly wasn’t about recycling the same joke Sheamus made already, getting your was beat by the one-arm man [fake laughs].”

Drew went on to claim that he gave the blueprint for Priest to cash-in the Money in the Bank, and said that it is like, “Drew McIntyre beat Drew Mcintyre”. He said that who is holding the briefcase is not a matter, but what matters is that he is a leader and honest to his own detriment at times with his advice.

Drew continued, “Again, spinning things, looking for that cheap pop, just like him. No, I gave you the blueprint on how to cash in. Look what happened? You ran with it, you won. So in a way, Drew McIntyre beat Drew McIntyre. It didn’t matter who was holding the briefcase because I’m such leader and honest to my own detriment at times with my advice,”
