Blit Rewards CEO, Ankur Jain recently opened up about their luxury wedding to people. Ankur said that they first had a plan to get married in space, however Erika refused the plan.

“My first pitch to Erika for the wedding was to get married in space, to which she said, “I don’t want to die on my wedding day!”

He continued saying they then decided to make their wedding so special, like they wanna make their new beginning in a different world. So they planned their wedding in Egypt as both were obsessed with ancient History & society.

“We’re New Yorkers and there’s something so special about being in a completely different world environment. So we decided, our wedding is about having a moment together to celebrate the new beginning, having a really special party with our friends somewhere where you’re in a different world.” Speaking of his wedding in Egypt, he added, “I’m obsessed with ancient history and society.”

Mrs Harmond said, “I had no idea what the napkins looked like or what the table setting looked like. We’re not traditional wedding people.”

Jain said that although they planned their wedding to be more special they skipped the traditional wedding cake and bridal party. However they had dinner together at the base of the pyramid.

“Why do you have to spend $20,000 on flowers? It doesn’t make sense. And none of that should matter when you’re getting an opportunity to sit and have dinner at the base of the pyramids!”

They said that they partied until 5 am having the best opening night at the Muhammad Ali Palace with a Modern Cairo thome featuring belly and fire dancers. They also share their wedding pictures on their Instagram handles.
