The Bloodline confronted & tried to attack CM Punk on the 6/21 SmackDown

The Bloodline has been dominating WWE for more than four years in a row and has been the top faction of the active roster. Throughout the years, Bloodline hunted several WWE Superstars and forced them to acknowledge them. The Bloodline had some principles, which was carried out under Roman Reigns’ leadership.

However, things are different under Solo Sikoa’s leadership. They have been taking our everyone, anytime, anywhere without limits. The Bloodline recently confronted CM Punk on SmackDown, however they didn’t attack him. Here we take a look at why The Bloodline didn’t attack CM Punk on SmackDown.

The Bloodline confronted CM Punk

On June 21, 2024, SmackDown, CM Punk made his return to his hometown Chicago, Illinois. Punk had a great reception from the home crowd and recalled several great WWE moments of him in Chicago. He was interrupted by his best friend Paul Heyman in the middle of the ring.

Punk knew that Heyman was stressed, so he hugged Heyman to calm him down. Heyman became emotional and advised Punk to leave the ring, as Solo Sikoa doesn’t like Punk being celebrated in Chicago and The Bloodline is coming after him.

Solo Sikoa with Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa confronted CM Punk and warned him to give two options. One to respect The Bloodline or they would make sure that Punk never gets cleared to compete again. Punk then said that he acknowledges the fact that he sees a bunch of Fake Usos and a Cosplay Roman Reigns. Punk asked Heyman what he wanted to do and Heyman asked him to take Heyman with him.

The Samoans soon stepped in to attack CM Punk, however Cody Rhodes with a couple of baseball bats arrived and made The Bloodline retreat. This later resulted in a singles match between Cody Rhodes & Solo Sikoa in the main event of the show.

CM Punk is off-limits to The Bloodline

Before the main event, Paul Heyman discussed with Solo Sikoa backstage about Solo being off his terms. Heyman said that CM Punk is very personal to him and even Roman Reigns said Punk is off limits and he is not to be attacked in any condition.

The statement from Heyman confirmed that Bloodline is ordered by the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns that they can’t work against CM Punk due to the bond between Punk & Paul Heyman. However, it is unknown whether Bloodline 2.0 will hold the same limits as Roman Reigns. With low integrity and heart, The Bloodline under Solo Sikoa might turn into a bunch of goons.
