“The Voice of the Voiceless” could be the reason Drew McIntyre loses against Damian Priest.

CM Punk is currently recovering from a triceps injury, but he might still make an appearance at WWE Clash at the Castle in some capacity. Despite being sidelined, Punk continues to send shockwaves through WWE following his injury inflicted by Drew McIntyre at the 2024 Royal Rumble.

The Best in the World and The Scottish Warrior have since engaged in verbal exchanges and face-to-face confrontations. There is significant speculation that Punk is expected to be part of WWE’s next Premium Live Event (PLE), Clash at the Castle, on June 15 at the OVO Hydro in Scotland, McIntyre’s home country.

On the May 6, 2024 episode of Raw, CM Punk appeared moments after Drew McIntyre left the arena. Punk then cut a promo, ending with the ominous words, “If you make me go to Glasgow, Scotland, I’m gonna be hiding in a bowl of haggis. I’m gonna pop out and I’m gonna break your face.” This statement has only fueled the rumors and excitement surrounding his potential involvement at the event.

McIntyre is also slated for a World Heavyweight Championship match against Damian Priest. Given the events of the past few months, here are three potential roles CM Punk could play at the upcoming WWE PLE:

3. Coming as a pre-show panelist

Punk has been part of multiple pre-show panels since his injury at the Royal Rumble, including the WrestleMania kick-off event and WWE Backlash France. He could fill a similar role for WWE Clash at the Castle, providing his opinions on the card and McIntyre’s match, which is expected to be the main event.

This would keep him in the spotlight and maintain his influence over the narrative without requiring physical involvement.

2. Making his way as a special guest commentator

Another potential role for CM Punk could be as the special guest commentator for the match between McIntyre and Damian Priest. This scenario would mirror his role at WrestleMania 40 when he called the action during McIntyre’s match against Seth Rollins, potentially distracting his rival just by his presence.

Punk’s commentary could be laced with provocative remarks aimed at McIntyre, adding another layer of psychological warfare to their ongoing feud.

1. CM Punk can interfere and cost Drew McIntyre the championship

One of the most anticipated scenarios is CM Punk interfering in Drew McIntyre’s match, much like he did at WrestleMania 40. In a pivotal moment when McIntyre is close to winning, Punk might cause interference, leading to McIntyre losing perhaps the biggest match of his career.

This would generate massive jeers for Punk, solidifying his role as a top heel and adding a dramatic twist to the event.

Vince Russo, a former wrestling creative mind, commented on this possibility, saying, “I disagree with that, and I’ll tell you why. First of all, Drew is probably at the very tippity top of my list of who my favorite is at the WWE right now, without a shadow of a doubt. However, I think if you take the title off Priest now, you are going to hurt him. And you have the easy screw, CM Punk screws Drew in his hometown. Now you are really putting Drew over the edge now. I mean now he can have an edge. I mean he can literally become a killer.
