WWE PLE trend in Triple H Era expected to continue for near future: Rumors

The ‘Triple H Era’ has been amazing so far
Triple H’s tenure began with a slew of new alterations to the present setup, one of which being shorter WWE PLEs. The firm has moved on from those protracted, boring PLEs with more than 5 bouts that exhaust even the viewers watching the performance. That was a pattern under Vince McMahon, but that is no longer the case.
WWE has been increasingly interested in shorter PLEs, which help them stack the match cards on RAW and SmackDown. According to Fightful Select, sources in WWE have told the website that the corporation is “happy” with the reception to these PLEs so far and would like to continue them.
It should be noted that the previous four WWE PLEs, including Backlash, Money In The Bank, King and Queen of the Ring, and Clash at the Castle, have all included no more than five matchups. Only SummerSlam had seven matches, and they had to be bigger because it was one of the largest WWE events of the year.
The only WWE PLE with more than 5 matches this year might be Survivor Series, which takes place on November 5. It’s mostly because it’s another important WWE event where major stories take place, and the narrative is being built for WrestleMania from here.
Aside from this, all other planned PLEs, such as Bash in Berlin, Bad Blood, and Crown Jewel, will include no more than five matches.
The reforms made during the Triple H period are starting to show results. For example, Hunted, who is a wrestler himself, pays greater attention to stories and how they unfold. Unlike Vince McMahon, he is not just concerned in the economic side of things, but he also ensures that wrestling is given due attention.
Similarly, Triple H has been highly eager to encourage female wrestlers to deliver excellent matches. Ronda Rousey, a former WWE superstar and UFC icon, has stated that Triple H has been highly supportive of the company’s women wrestlers.
While dismissing Vince McMahon as a miserable individual, Rousey stated that she wished she could retire during Triple H’s reign. However, the former WWE Women’s World Champion retired in 2022, when Vince McMahon was still there unofficially.
Even after Ronda Rousey has retired, she continues to criticize Vince McMahon and praise Triple H. Who knows, maybe she’ll make a WWE appearance someday.
