WWE SmackDown Results, Highlights & Winners (June 07, 2024): The Bloodline stands tall

The June 07, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is officially over and it is one of the must watch episodes in the road to Clash at the Castle 2024. This week’s episode is filled with a number of interesting storyines and matches focusing on the booking for the upcoming PLE. A lot of things happened on this week’s WWE SmackDown. Get to know more, as we came out with the complete show summary, hightlights, results and winners list for this week’s Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE SmackDown Summary & Highlights
The Bloodline Anointment
The Bloodline kicked-off Friday Night SmackDown. Paul Heyman announced that Solo Sikoa will be the new Head of the Table in the absence of Roman Reigns and he will be The Bloodline’s Wiseman. He says that Tama Tonga will be the new Right Hand Man of Solo & Tonga Loa will be the Informist.
Heyman concluded his speech sooner, but Solo asked him to thank Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa for saving him from Kevin Owens last week. Heyman thanked them and Tama said that they would have left Heyman alone, making Owens to kill him, but they saved them by the orders of Tribal Chief. Heyman said that Owens is angry on them and is looking to take every member of The Bloodline.
Kevin Owens then came to the ring and begin a brawl, but the numbers game played out. The Street Profits came for the save & they made Bloodline retreat.
In the backstage, Solo Sikoa yelled Paul Heyman asking is he trying to escape. Solo asked Heyman to meet Aldis and make a Six Man Tag Team match tonighy or else it would be Tama Tonga vs Paul Heyman in the main event in their locker room. Heyman urged to meet Nick Aldis and make the Six-Man Tag Team Match.
Uncle Howdy’s Message
Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae
Bianca Belair and Candice LeRae started the match. No sooner the potential opponents, Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn, Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark arrived to the ring side. Belair while having her sights on them, Candice striked Belair early. However Belair fought back delivering a slam and a lionsault. No sooner, Candice and Hartwell took the momentum with a back to back tag-ins.
Back after the commercial, Belair escaped from the opposite cornet and tagged Cargill in. Jade was fired up right from the start and took both her opponents single handedly. Jade hit a back breaker on Candice and hit a corner splash on Indi. She overhead military pressed Candice and threw it over Indi. The Champs took Candice out and hit their finisher on Indi to win the match.
After the match, Cargill & Belair celebrate their win, but Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Baszler, Stark attacked them. While both the teams tried to have their hands on the title, the champs got back into the ring and took them out. They took Baszler and Zoey first and hit their finisher on Fyre and Dawn to end the segment.
Backstage- Cody Rhodes waits for AJ Styles arrival
Cody Rhodes was in the parking lot waiting for the arrival of AJ Styles with full grudge. Aldis came to meet him and asks what he is trying to do. Cody and Aldis have a quick chat, where Aldis sensed that it would be a brawl.
Backstage
Apollo Crews was giving an interview ahead of his match against Angel. However Legado Del Fantasma attacked him. The officials separated them and took Apollo to the medical room. Aldis is worried that a match is withdrawn. LA Knight met Aldis asking where is Logan Paul. Aldis explained that he is not here this week too. Carmelo Hayes confronted Knight and teased him. Knight called for a match later the same night.
Grayson Waller & Johnny Gargano
Grayson Waller tried to take Johnny Gargano down, but Gargano countered his move punching on his face and stomping him to the corner. The momentum swung both the sides, as they went for strike to strike. Both sneaked out and Gargano landed badly while delivering a standing Shiranui. Back in the ring, Waller hit Gargano with a elbow drop from the middle rope, targetting his back. Gargano fights back delivering a spear using the springboard.
Both kept exchanging strikes, where Gargano hit a modified Canadian Destroyer to take Waller out of the ring. Grgano went for a suicide dive, but Waller pulled Theory and Gargano lannded on him. Waller used the momentum to hit an innovative Bulldog kind of a move to win the match.
Cody Rhodes & AJ Styles
While Cody was waiting for Styles, Aldis came out with a bunch of securities to stop them involving anything physical. Styles arrived to the arena with The Good Brothers, but the securities stopped them before they get near to each other. Cody walked his way to the ring and called out AJ Styles to the ring to settle things.
Styles made his way to the entrance ramp and Aldis with securities stood in between. Styles asked Cody for a title shot at Clash at the Castle & Cody offered it, but this time in a “I Quit Match”. Aldis approved it, however Cody tried to break the securities to fight Styles. Securities caught Cody and Styles used it to hit a Phenomenal ForeArm on Cody.
Backstage
Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair came out of Nick Aldis’ room and announced that they will defend their title at Clash at the Castle in a Triple Threat Match against the team of Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark & the team of Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.
LA Knight vs Carmelo Hayes
The match began with both trash talking on each other. Hayes fired up with his strikes on Knight, but Knight took him down with a powerful clothesline and dragged him out of the ring. Knight banged Hayes’ head to the announcement table and tossed him on it.
Both then took the fight to the ring, and both exchanged their shots & countering back. Knight after a couple of missed Elbow Drop attempts finally hit an elbow drop after a pop-up power-slam and measured him for a BFT. Hayes escaped him and tried to roll down, but Knight rolled him and got the win.
LA Knight after the match, called out Logan Paul saying that if Logan is not coming to SmackDown, he would bring SmackDown to him.
Backstage
Tiffany Stratton teased of having her back on Nia Jax and asked Nia to think about it.
Michin then met Nia, where The Queen asked Michin to handle her business, that is taking retirement. Michin got heard enough and hit her with a waterbottle. Both started brawling and referees separated them.
Bayley & Piper Niven
Bayley came to cut a promo addressing her match against Piper Niven at Clash at the Castle. Before she began her speech, Piper Niven & Chelsea interrupted her. Shelse claimed that Bayley was always a loser and Piper will prove her again, beating Bayley at Clash at the Castle. Bayley stopped her saying that she already defeated Green. Bayley said that she has respect for Niven & wish she would have asked for a title shot, instead of attacking her. Bayley claimed that she will win Niven to retain the title.
Niven then grabbes the mic and said that Bayley knows none about Niven and how dangerous she is. Niven is confident about taking the title from Bayley in Niven’s homecountry.
Logan Paul
Logan Paul addressed LA Knight’s challenge and said that he is busy in winning the Tetris championship. He doesn’t want to waste time with Mega Star, who can’t win a title. He asked Knight to go to the mid-card where he belong.
Backstage
Chelsea Green and Piper Niven were discussing about celebrating their championship win at Glasgow. They met Nick Aldis, who is in discussion with Naomi about the Money in the Bank. Chelsea and Naomi cath heat, and Aldis advises them to save it for next week. They’ll have a one on one match at SmackDown in Scotland.
Six-Man Tag Team Match- Kevin Owens & The Street Profits vs The Bloodline
Angelo Dawkins and Tama Tonga started the match, where Dawkins was fired up and took down Tama Tonga with his quickness. Ford got tagged in, but Tama took advantage of him. The back to back tag-ins made Bloodline take a brief control. Ford fights back and took Tama out of the ring, but Solo blind tags himself and took Ford out to send him face first to the ring post.
Back after the comemrcial, Solo Sikoa was in control of Ford. The Bloodline took Ford to their corner and punished him. Ford somehow escaped from thir corner and tagged Kevin Owens in. On the other hand, Solo got the tag. Owens fired up with his strike taking Solo to the corner to hit a cannon ball and hit a swantom bomb from the top rope.
Solo fought back and looks for a Samoan Spike, but Owens delivered a Stunner on him. While going for the pin, the other two members of the Bloodline took Owens down. Ford jumped on everyone outside the ring over the ring post, but Solo hit him with a chair to end the match in a no contest.
Although the match ended the brawl continued. Dawkins attacked Solo, but the numbers game played out. Solo delivered a spear on Montez Ford and hit Kevin Owens with a Triple Powerbomb breaking the announcement desk to end this week’s SmackDown.

- Grayson Waller defeated Johnny Gargano by pinfall.
- LA Knight defeated Carmelo Hayes by pinfall.
